What ripens, gleams

*What ripens, gleams* is a browser-based generative artwork that transforms chat conversations into a moving topology of recurrence, proximity, density, memory and connection. A conversation has an inner form: thoughts emerge, are abandoned, return, branch, condense or lose weight. Some terms appear briefly. Others carry the exchange across longer distances. Still others rest for a time and are taken up again later. The work attempts to make this movement visible — not as a summary, not as an interpretation, but as a spatial and temporal topology of thought. The entered text is analysed locally in the browser. No language model, external AI evaluation, API or upload is used. The work reads texture: repetition, distance, proximity, density, tension, return. What recurs becomes a centre. What accumulates becomes sediment. What is reactivated can begin to glow again. The result is neither a dashboard nor a word cloud, but a rule-based image event: a possible body of the text.
